Day 13 - Wine Valley Golf Club (Walla Walla)

Nice lazy start to the day today. Breakfast downstairs then headed 15 mins down the road to play golf at Wine Valley GC.

Bag drop - 1/2 wine barrels

Pro shop & clubhouse

Greeted by a very nice Gentleman who gave us some tips and also a course guide. I just love the logo - a corkscrew with a golf flag - very clever

It was a links course with some deep bunkers and undulating greens - a little like RQ. Hard to even see a golf course from the drive in and yet once you are on the course it was in great condition, lush fairways and well maintained greens and bunkers.

It was very windy today but not cold - 27 degree's by the end of the round. Perfect for me as I love the wind. I played well - 21 points on the front, finished with 36 points. Sean is struggling with Golfers Elbow at the moment so he played off a more forward tee and didn't hit full shots.

A very enjoyable course, and as usual the pictures don't really do it justice 😖

We stopped at one of our favourite shops on the way back and did a "little" bit more shopping. Showered and changed, ready to head out for dinner

Dinner at the Stone Hut, very nice. There is a Fair in town as it is Labour Day on Monday, so lots of activity. They get to 39 degree's in summer and then have 10 feet of snow in winter!!
