Day 4 - Bandon Dunes Course

A nice leisurely start to the day. Breakfast downstairs then off in the shuttle to the practice range (for Sean obviously).

Food truck at the Practice Range

Back to the lodge for our 11:20am tee time.

Met our Caddy, Paul. He will stay with us for every game while we are here. Only in a 2 today but behind a 4, so no rush, very relaxed golf

First 3 holes were very interesting, lots of elevation. Then on the 4th you tee off before a sharp dog leg right which heads straight for the ocean. First views of the ocean and today was clear blue skies. It was windy, but not cold. Sean wore his beanie to stop his hat blowing off!!

Paul, our caddy. They carry 2 bags

The ocean holes were spectacular, the whole course was amazing in fact. No 2 holes were the same, some headed inland then you would come back around to the ocean again.

I managed to walk the whole 18 but my back started to get sore after 14. Unfortunately, I have very acute pain again tonight, hoping it settles overnight 🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

Finished a great round. Sean had 2 birdies and 36 points. I did score 24 points and had a few good holes, but I am clearly not 100% for walking & golf together, so really enjoyed the walk and the views.

Back to our room for a shower and rest, then down to dinner. I had pork and Sean an Eye Fillet. Then the waiter came to tell us that a post I had put on the Bandon Dunes Facebook page had been noticed by a random "stranger" and they wanted to pay for dessert for us both - how nice was that!!

Going to be an early night for me 😴
